Bird poo - who knew it could be so artistic? During Lockdown, when we were only allowed out for 30 minutes exercise or essentials, we went on many walks. We did a lot of admiring the beautiful scenery as everyone does, appreciating what we are usually too busy to notice. But also looking down to make sure we didn't tread in anything messy. We began to notice that bird poo splats are quite interesting! They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colours (depending on what the bird has been eating!).
Recording these marvellous creations in a typology style of photography allows us to compare just how different, how spontaneous, how wonderfully individual they actually are. You soon forget that what you are admiring is poo!
